1 Ticehurst Road in Lyeltton consists of the retrofit of the oldest remaining house in Lyttelton.
Seismic retrofit to both the foundations and the building superstructure was achieved using modern construction techniques while maintaining the maximum retention of the existing heritage fabric and allowing a fully compliant subfloor ventilation system where bearers were placed directly on the soil previously.
